- Al Qassimi Hospital (Al Qasimi, Al Qasimmi, Al Qassimmi Hospital) – Sharjah’s oldest hospital, constructed in 1971. A new restructuring program was reported in the Gulf News 30 Aug 2007, to turn it into a “medical and teaching hospital” (medical?). It was reported as having a “spotty record” of care due to poor infrastructure.
- Al Kuwaiti Hospital, Sharjah. Gulf News reported 15 Jan 2007 that a 30 year old man died of a heart attack on the way to a clinic after visiting the Al Kuwaiti Hospital but being sent away without tests or treatment.
